CentauriPrimeisdevastatedbyNarnandDraziwarshipsandLondoMollaribecomesemperor,acceptingaDrakhKeeperunderthreatofthecompletenucleardestructionoftheplanet.(Portionsoftheendofhisreignareseeninvariousprescientvisionsthroughouttheseries;theyshowMollariandformernemesis(andlaterfriend)GKarsixteenyearsinthefuturedyingateachothersthroats,seeminglyoutoftheirgrudge.Itisgraduallyrevealedthattherewasamuchmorefriendlysubtext,withMollarihavingbecomeaslavetothedrakhruleandbeingtiredoflife;hisDrakhKeeperawakensandstranglesGKarinreturn.VirCotto,Mollarisloyalandmoremoralaide,succeedshimasemperor,freeofDrakhinfluence.SheridanandDelennmarryandmovetoMinbar,alongwiththeheadquartersoftheInterstellarAlliance.GKarleavesBabylon5toescapehisunwantedfameandexploretherim.GaribaldialsomarriesandsettlesdownonMars.MostoftheothermaincharactersleaveB5. Nineteenyearslateronthevergeofdeath,SheridantakesafinaltriptotheobsoleteBabylon5stationbeforeitsdecommissioning.SheridanapparentlydiesbutisclaimedbytheFirstOnes,whoinvitehimtojointhemonajourneybeyondtherimofthegalaxy.Babylon5stationisdestroyedinademolitionshortlyafterSheridansdeparture,itsexistencenolongernecessaryastheAlliancehastakenoveritsdiplomaticpurposes.ThisfinalepisodefeaturesacameobyStraczynskiasthetechnicianwhoswitchesoffthelightsbeforeBabylon5isdemolished.
