剧情简介：爱神剧情：GodofLoveisanAmericanliveactionshortfilm.Thefilmsruntimeisapproximately18minutes.ItwaswrittenanddirectedbyLukeMatheny,andproducedbyGigiDement,RyanSilbert,andStefanieWalmsley.ThefilmwasshotinblackandwhiteontheRedOnecamerabydirectorofphotographyBobbyWebster.Inthefilm,aloungesingerandchampionshipdartplayernamedRaymondGoodfellowisdesperatelyinlovewithafellowband-mate,butsheonlyhasloveforhisbestfriend.ThecroonerpraysdailytoGodforawayforhisbelovedtofallinlovewithhim.Oneevening,hisprayersareansweredwhenhesgivenaboxofmagicaldartswithCupid-likepowers.Raymonddecidestousethedartstomakehisownloveconnection.RaymandGoodfellowridesonacountryroadonhismotorscooter.Hisvoiceoverexplains“Youcan’tcontrolwhoyoufallinlovewith,orwhofallsinlovewithyou.Lovedoesn’tmakesense.”ThefilmflashesbacktothreemonthsearliertoRay’stimeasaconfident,self-centeredloungesinger/dartthrower.Ray’sbandconsistsofhisfriendsFozzie(guitar),Frank(Bass)andthe“loveofhislife”Kelly(drums).Beforehejoinsthebandonstage,RaypraystoGodaskinghimforassistanceingettingKellytolovehim.DespiteRay’songoingaffectiontoher,sheseemsdrawntoFozziewho,beingagoodfriendtoRay,isrejectingKelly’sadvances.AfterRay’scrowdpleasingperformance,heisinformedbythebartenderthatsomeonehasleftapackageforhim.Thepackagecontains“lovedarts.”Theinstructionsforthedartsexplainthatwhensomeoneispokedwithlovedarttheyareimmediatelyattractedtothefirstpersontheysee.Thisattractionlastsfor6hours.Attheendofthe6hoursiftheloveismeanttolastitwill,butifitdoesn’titwon’t.RaytellsFozzieaboutthedartsandtheybothagreetohaveatestrun.Whilethebandwalkshomefromagig,RaythrowsalovedartcatchingaprissyJerseyGirlnamedAngela.ThefirstmansheseesisRay’squiet,low-keybandmateFrank.Justastheinstructionspromised,AngelafallsinlovewithFrankimmediately.RayandFozziefollowthenewcouplearound.Afterexactlysixhours,AngelaappearstostillbeinlovewithFrankandRaydeclaresthedarts“effective.”RayenlistsFozzie’shelpincreatingthe“mostromanticsixhours”ensuringthatKellywillremaininlovewithRayafterthelovedart’sinitialpowerends.Fozzieisabletoofferseveraltips,knowingasurprisingamountaboutKellyandthethingsthatareimportanttoher.RaygoestoKelly’shouseandstrikesherwithadart.Aspromisedbythedart’sinstructions,sheimmediatelyfallsinlovewithhim.Theygoontheirdatewhichgoesperfectly.Towardstheendofthesixhourstheykiss.Whenthesixhoursend,Kellylooksuncomfortable,thankshimfortheevening,andleaves.Itisclearthatthelovefromthedartdidnotlast.Rayconsoleshimselfbypokingonewomanafteranotheruntilhehasawholeflockofwomen(andoneman)whoarecompletelyinlovewithhimforsixhours.DuringthistimeallhecandoistalkaboutgettingKellytofallinlovewithhimagain.Heevencontemplatesconvincingherthatshehasdiabetessoshehastopokeherselfwiththelovedartsoverandoveragain.Thelovedartswearoffandheisaloneagain,readytotrytothedartsonKellyonemoretime.WalkinghomefromanothergigwithhisbandRaypreparestothrowaseconddartatKelly.MomentsbeforethrowingthedartherealizesthathisloyalfriendFozzieisreallyinlovewithherandthatsheisreallyinlovewithhim.InsteadofstrikingKellywiththedart,hehitsFozzierightashelooksupatKelly.Thetwoinstantlyfallinlovewitheachother.Awiserandlessself-centeredRayreturnstohisapartment.Hefindsanothermysteriousboxoutsidehisapartmentwithanotethatsays“nicework.”HeopenstheboxandfindsCupid’sbowandarrow.Thefilmflashesforwardtosixmonthsinthefutureatthepointthefilmbegan.ThebandcontinuesbutwithoutRay,Angelaisthenewsinger.FrankandAngelaandFozzieandKellyarestillverymuchinlove.Rayismanymilesawaydrivingonhismotorscooteronthecountryroadhisbowandarrowtiedtohisback.Herepeats“youcan’tcontrolwhoyoulove,orwholovesyou.”Heendsbysayingthatlovedoesn’tmakesense.Heknowsallthisbecause“IamtheGodoftheLove.”
